THE DIET FOR SPRING

Having indulged too much over Christmas New Year and January we are both on a diet, Alex has never been on a diet in his life and I have been on thousands, slight exaggeration but I have been on every diet that is ever mentioned. Anyway we are on the five and two diet, first week was not so hard, the premise eat normally for 5 days of the week and cut the calories down for two days. Luckily some friends have to come to stay and Anne is a great soup maker, she has got to work already so for Mondays fast day we are already sorted. I seem to be pretty lucky most of my friends love to cook which gives me a break from the stove. I love to cook too but it is a real treat when someone else does it for you, true luxury in my book. Must dash Sunday lunch is being served.
